What I've Been Doing Today

Hello guys, this is Arca. It took me thirty minutes straight to create the image collage above, but I'd say it was worth it. Background image sources and individual Toad character credits go to Marvel Studios and Disney, and Nintendo. Anyways, since it's already pretty late according to my parents' standards, I need to create a daily blog post. Normally I wouldn't have to be prefacing the post by saying something like that, but I guess here we are. So, what have I been doing today from start to finish?

Well, I woke up and dragged myself out of bed with my broken toe (read here to learn how that happened: http://www.arcabaran.com/2020/03/i-thought-i-broke-my-toe-my-reaction-to.html). I spent the first part of my day doing homework and studying. Then, after being inspired by a video by Nintendo Life giving advice on how to tackle my gaming backlog, I decided to focus my energy on playing just one game at a time for now, and I chose one of the games I was the closest to beating: Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker on my Switch.

It is a great quarantine game due to how soothing and simple it is. I beat the main campaign and the boss, and unlocked the "chapter 2" epilogue portion of it where you play as Toadette rather than Captain Toad. Then I ate lunch, and then sat around a bit, doing miscellaneous things like trying to pick the book I'm reading back up, continue my Python course online, and FaceTime call my friends.

Lastly, I rewatched Avengers: Endgame for the first time since last summer on Disney+ for the rest of the day before and after dinner. It still was very enjoyable and I think in most ways succeeded as a conclusion to a large narrative while Star Wars' Episode IX unfortunately didn't. Now, I am rushing to finish this blog post for once since my parents make me sleep at 9 on weekends (I know, I know) and they consider 9:50 PM an emergency situation and I need to go to sleep immediately, since I have a long day full of work tomorrow (just kidding, I have nothing again). Today was pretty enjoyable and relaxing, more proof that I have enjoyed my virtual school for 9th grade better than regular school.

Anyways, how was y'all's Saturday? Did you do anything interesting or exciting while still being on-quarantine? Leave it in the comments below. This is Arca, signing off for now, until my next post tomorrow. Have a good one, and good night, everyone.
