Happy (Belated) Fourth of July! + President Arjay Finale

Image Source Hello, everyone. Saturday was the Fourth of July, AKA Independence Day. Happy (late) Fourth of July to all! As you probably know, this is celebrated all across America for it is the day that the Declaration of Independence was adopted by the Continental Congress. This, of course, led to the birth of the United States, independent from England. Normally, it would be celebrated with fireworks and barbecue parties. It still is... without any precautions by those who aren't practicing keeping themselves and others safe. But with precautions by those who are. Or, just not at all in the places where public fireworks got canceled and no one invited you to a barbecue party so you just have to barbecue some chicken yourself. Or eat a veggie burger if you're vegetarian, I suppose.  On Saturday, I started out on the Fourth of July by going to a half-capacity beach for the second day in a row. Some people clearly, blatantly didn't care about social distancing and this conc...

MAY THE FOURTH BE WITH YOU! + Me Playing John Williams music on the Otamatone! (Happy Star Wars Day 2020!)

Image Source Today is one of the best days of the year, in my opinion. What started out as a joke several decades ago based on clever wordplay of the day May 4th and the iconic phrase "May the Force Be With You" is now still getting fans worldwide to come together to celebrate the galaxy far, far away! Regardless of what aspect of Star Wars you grew up with or love the most, today also has lots of ways to celebrate. The first, and best way would be to watch the series finale(!) of The Clone Wars , which released today instead of on a Friday as usual. I haven't watched that yet, but will soon. Another way would be to watch a brand new Disney+ docuseries about the making of The Mandalorian , which also had its first episode released today for while we tide for its Season 2 to be released this October. Yet another, another way would be to rewatch (or maybe watch for the first time) Episode IX: The Rise of Skywalker , since it hit Disney+ today. Either to watch it...

HAPPY HALLOWEEN! (2019)

Image Credit: Nintendo If there's something cool... in your email inbox... what did you just do? SUBSCRIBE TO TTHT!  It is officially one of the best days of the year, in my opinion. Time to make spooky scary skeleton memes, impersonate =anyone real or imaginary that you want, and watch spooky movies and play spooky games! This post will be a short summary of what interesting things are happening today, and what I am doing myself. NEW AABO Vlog sends shivers down your spine!  This isn't like the boring Haunted Hayride "vlog" we made 3 years ago. This time, while video was prohibited on the ride itself, we did the next best thing: A 20-minute-long voice memo that recorded and captured all the screams and thrills! In addition to a few short vlog moments, most of the video lets you imagine and experience the spookiness (and cheesiness) of the hayride itself, complete with subtle background chatter and dialogue amongst AABO members that really completes the hi...

THANK YOU + Thanksgiving 2018 Vlog!

Hello everyone! A few days ago, it was Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays since it gives everyone time to get together and show gratitude for the special people, privileges, and things in their life. This year, it was no exception. My friends Ali and Burak were kind enough to invite Onur and me over to their house for a Thanksgiving celebration. We ate a delicious feast of turkey and other traditional Thanksgiving food together, talked about what we were thankful for, and had fun playing Super Mario Party together. I recorded bits of our celebration and edited it together into a full-length vlog, uploaded to our collaboration YouTube channel, The AABO Show . You can watch the full video above, right on this site. Or, if you'd like to have the link and open it in a new YouTube tab, here it is:  https://youtu.be/2Fk-sqTVLgo We hadn't posted in a while previous to this, so of course, I started out the video with an Undertale Megalovania meme that prop...

MAKING MY SCHOOL DANK AGAIN [Story] + Happy (Delayed) 4th of July!

If you're an avid reader of my blog, then reading the title of this post may have given you a sense of Deja Vu. If it did, then surely I can't blame you; You see, you're kind of right in feeling that way. That is since last year I made a post about running for school vice -president, which is technically different than what this will be about. But just because its different doesn't mean it can't be similar, either. When they say that history tends to repeat itself, well, it turns out that they can be so right, and this story proves that exactly. So sit back, relax, and hear my tale of what happened in my school two weeks ago... LEVEL ONE: The public relations specialist To start the story, let's talk about how it all began. Back in 2016 just before I started middle school with 6th grade, we got a form asking what school clubs we wanted to join that year. My eyes immediately fell to computer club and newspaper club, of course. But when I showed it to ...
