BREAKING NEWS: Ready Player One Sequel Book Coming November + PS5 Game Box Design Revealed + Are $70 Next-Gen Games the Norm?

Image collage done by me, but individual screenshots from Amazon and PlayStation Blog . Image credit for game box to Sony, Marvel, and Insomniac.  Hello, everyone. This is Arca, and today I will be doing a news roundup of sorts. This post was originally, as I hinted at in yesterday's post (which you should totally read here ), going to focus on next-gen AAA games potentially all costing $70 rather than $60. Then, two pieces of breaking news occurred. First, yesterday at noon, the book sequel to Ernest Cline's 2011 movie-sparking phenomenon Ready Player One was given a confirmed title, cover, and release date. Then, just 3 hours ago as of the time I started typing up this post, Sony via the official PlayStation Blog showed off for the first time what PlayStation 5 games will have as their cover art design through Spider-Man: Miles Morales . Let's tackle all of those subjects, as well as my thoughts on them, in precisely that order, starting with... Ready Player Two book is ...

What I've Been Doing Today

Hello guys, this is Arca. It took me thirty minutes straight to create the image collage above, but I'd say it was worth it. Background image sources and individual Toad character credits go to Marvel Studios and Disney, and Nintendo. Anyways, since it's already pretty late according to my parents' standards, I need to create a daily blog post. Normally I wouldn't have to be prefacing the post by saying something like that, but I guess here we are. So, what have I been doing today from start to finish? NEWS ROUNDUP: New Switch Revision for 2019 Announced, Lawsuit Over Joy-Con Drift, New Joy-Con colors, the end of Splatoon 2, SDCC 2019, Moon Landing Anniversary, and MORE!

News. * clap * Review. * clap *. What is up, fellow ogres? I haven't posted very frequently recently because of summer camp taking up much more time than I initially expected (hey, that wasn't in the job description), but that's actually a positive thing. Why? That means I have more important news to talk about and catch you guys up on, and then proceed to babble on about it for 12 pages!-- Just kidding. While there may not be a TL;DR included for this post due to the fact that it covers so many topics at once, I have attempted my best to make each individual section as short as possible, like a TL;DR in it of itself. You're welcome. Now, without further ado, let's Naruto Run straight into this news! We're starting off with an announcement that seems perfect after the Switch Lite last week...  New Switch Model Announced! But is it a worthy upgrade? On Wednesday, Nintendo announced via their Japanese website that a new Nintendo Switch model set...
