For example, when the iPhone first came out in 2007, it was priced $600 (considered eye-wateringly expensive back then). But later on, as the technology became more mass produced and it became cheaper, it became obviously more worth it.<br />Foldable displays obviously aren't cheap at the moment. The $2000 price tag could be interpreted as two phones in one. However, as time goes on and foldable smartphones are no longer just a sci-fi-like proof of concept (which this phone is), it won't be as strangely pricey. <br />But to answer your question: No, I don't think its worth it for most people. Unless you're rich and really want to get a glimpse of the future. Otherwise, just wait, since in the matter of only a few years, it might be half the price.
